General Interview Questions

1Q:What are the safety precautions which should necessarily be observed by an electronic mechanic ?
Ans:He should :
1. use rubber gloves, shoes, matting etc. so as to keep himself isolated from the earth contact.
2. not put a main-switch to ON unless he is sure that no one else is working on the main line.
3. collect all theoretical details regarding the job to be done by him.
2Q:What are the effects of electric shock on human body ?
Ans:It may cause suppression in breathing, reduction in pulse count, blisters on the body and even heart failure.
3Q:What first aid should be provided to a victim of electric shock ?
Ans:1. Release the victim from electric contact by pulling the main switch to OFF or by pulling him while keeping yourself isolated from the earth contact.
2. Loose the victim's shoes, clothes etc. and protect him from cold.
3. Give him artificial respiration if he is unable to continue normal breathing.
Q4:What is the simplest method of artificial respiration ?
Ans:Mouth to mouth resuscitation is the simplest one.
Q5:What is matter ?
Ans:Anything which occupies space and which has a definite weight is called matter. It is found in three shapes - solid, liquid and gas.
Q6:What is energy ?
Ans:There are two main things in this world - matter and energy. The capacity of doing some work is called energy.
Q7:What is molecule ?
Ans:The smallest part of substance which contains all physical and chemical properties of that matter is called a molecule.
Q8:What is an atom ?
Ans:A molecule is composed of atoms. An atom is the smallest particle of an element which can take part into or can be separated by chemical reactions but which has no free existence.
Q9:Is an atom the smallest particle ?
AnsNO, an atom is composed of 'electrons', 'protons', and 'neutrons'. It consists of a central part called'nucleus' which is composed of protons and neutrons and there is ample space around the nucleus in which electrons revolve round the nucleus in different energy shells.
Q10:What is an electron ?
Ans:A small particle of an atom having a unit negative charge is called an electron.
Q11:What is a proton ?
Ans:A small particle of an atom having a unit positive charge is called an proton.
Q12:What is neutron ?
Ans:A small particle of an atom having no charge and whose mass is almost equal to that of a proton is called a neutron.
Q13:What are the elements and compounds ?
Ans:The substance composed of only one kind of atoms is called an element and that composed of two or more than two kinds of atoms is called a compound.
